W2-Professorship – Computer Science, especially Security Analytics
Your Responsibilities
- Conducting English-language as well as German-language courses in the subject areas of data science, security analytics and explainable AI, as well as innovative expansion of course offerings.
- Representation of the professorship in teaching, research, transfer as well as academic self-administration in the fields of study.
- Strengthening of the research and transfer activities of the university, expansion of a research profile as well as cooperation with internal and external research partners.
Your Background
- Completed university studies in computer science or related fields
- Practical experience in the fields of data science and security analytics
- Willingness to teach hybrid courses
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary manner
- Excellent networking skills in the subject areas
- Enjoyment of and experience in applied research in the above areas of expertise
- Ideally, experience in the acquisition and implementation of third-party funded projects
Recruitment requirements according to § 47 of the State University Act (LHG)
The hiring requirements for professors are regulated in § 47 of the State Higher Education Act (LHG). In addition to a completed university degree, the special aptitude for academic work, which must usually be proven by a doctorate is required as well as the proof of pedagogical aptitude.
